Can You Say “Skynet”?

According to the BBC, scientists believe that machines will reach human-level artificial intelligence by 2029.

Maybe this is just an arbitrary date, but I can’t help but be reminded of The Terminator–2029 was the year that both the T-800 and Kyle Reese were sent back to 1984 to find Sarah Connor.

So addictive it should be illegal

A few days ago, Johnny Brazil sent me this link.  He warned of its addictive qualities, but I did not heed his cautionary words.  Instead, I’ve spent the last few days mesmerized by this game–damn those crazy Brits for mixing video games and physics.  Damn them…damn them all!!!

My mind is going, Dave…I can feel it…
